A marketing campaign by Kit Kat: „Have a break, have no Wi-Fi“. The brand installed a couple of „Wi-Fi free“ spots in Amsterdam to encourage people to have a real conversation instead of texting. Well, great message, but they replaced one devil with another:
In a city like Amsterdam it’s a vain endeavour to create a REAL WiFi-free area in public places. Therefore they installed WiFi jammers which blocked all signals within a radius of 5 metres. Result: no mobile connection due to an added microwave signal.
