Colonel de Salis

Built in 1910 by a British Colonel De Salis as a summer home and set 0n 3/4 of an acre. This wonderful home features all the delightful interiors of the period.
Comfy beds and bright rooms all with a lovely ambience. Local amenities are Shawnigan Lake, Masons Beach, Kinsol Trestle as well as the nearby ocean and the city of Victoria 45 minutes away.
The theme for the home is to offer an experience of a different time when people could quietly read a book, have a tea and reflect and unwind from a stressful world. We also offer a choice either a B&B experience of self-catered holidays. We do not offer Wi-Fi or TV or currently internet as we believe that these modern gadgets steal from the moment and distract. As well as health concerns from people with EHS. However local coffee shops offer Wi-Fi if needed.
