Frenchman’s Creek in Cornwall is a historic building (built around 1840), which was restored by the Landmark Trust and now can be rented as a holiday home. It is very secluded in the woods at the edge of the estuary of Helford River.
Frenchman’s Creek provides two double rooms and therefore sleeps 4 people. The buildings managed by the Landmark Trust generally have no TV and no WiFi.
The path down to the cottage (you may need to leave your car at the top) is steep and depending on the weather conditions sometimes slippery. This is a remote, romantic and secluded place and therefore the perfect choice for people who are looking for tranquility and nature.
