Maison Mazerand
An absolute gem is „Maison Mazerand“ in Cirey-sur-Vezouze in Lorraine: built around 1896, the lordly house originally was the residence of the director of one of France’s oldest printing companies. The house is surrounded by a park, which is fenced, so that even dogs – which, accompanied by their master/mistress, are very welcome – can frolic safely.
The upper floor of the house consists of two guest rooms, a large bathroom with separate toilet, a library and a billiards room. This floor is reserved exclusively for the guests during their stay.
The host will gladly provide you with information and advice about places worth visiting and excursions in the surrounding area.
Currently there is no WiFi in the house. The installation is planned, but with the option to turn the system on or off as needed. For the extremely electrosensitive guest this accommodation might be less suitable due to the widespread use of WLAN in the neighborhood. However, in case you bring your own shielding canopy, the four-postered bed would make it easy to fix that.
