The Quiet Dome
The Quiet Dome is located in a pristine forest of the Sierra Nevada Mountains near Grass Valley, California. It was built deliberately free of chemical toxins and reduced electro-smog, but is nevertheless equipped with all the usual comforts. It is also fire-resistant and earthquake-proof. The distance to the next cell tower is approx. 3.5 km. The Quiet Dome is completely WiFi free, wired internet is available. In the former gold mining town of Grass Valley, a 12-minute drive away, you can buy organic food and visit the Empire Mine, which has produced around 5.8 million ounces of gold over 100 years of mining. There is also a river and a lake for swimming, fishing and boating.
